Set in the near future, the story revolves around “Robot Battles” (nicknamed Robattles), a popular pastime where people pit their robotic pets against each other. The game follows an elementary school protagonist as they embark on an adventure in this world.
The robots, known as Medarots, are built from medals and parts. By collecting and assembling these components, players can create robots with a wide range of abilities. Using a link cable, players can trade medals and parts with friends — or challenge them to battles and win their opponent’s parts in competition.
