18k solid gold antique sleeper earrings, purchased from my local jeweler. These are in excellent condition and are very durable and secure.
Sleepers were popular in 1860s as earrings to wear to bed to prevent the ear holes from closing.
The “dots” of gold in the middle are slightly different sizes, which does not take away from the look of the earrings and reflects the gold work of the time they were made. (Pictured above).
