Used, good. NOT INDIA PAPER. Good condition. This is the desirable second edition published by G&C Merriam; heavy tan cloth with two leather title bands on spine (one dark red, one black), gold lettering on spine and front cover. marbled page edges, standard paper, almost 6" thick, 1939 copyright, 3210 pages. This book contains the word Dord. CONDITION. Cover has light wear, very slightly soiled by use. no marks or writing. Page 1715 has some tears. Page 2042 tape snd tears Page 1881 has tape on it. The last page is creased and has a tear see photos. Also the 1st plate page is not attached to the binding. See photos. Nice condition. HEAVY/OVERSIZE. This weighs about 18lbs. This book is very hard to find. Very nice for book collectors.
