This old Toby pottery is amazing considering the age 1976 made in England. Stamped SYLVAC staffordshire - Hand Painted made in England. Toby. The stamp dates the piece for us as well. This stamp was used in the 60’s & 70’s. I know the original owner was in England in 1976 & I have more pieces from England dated 1976. Toby is holding a beer mug & pitcher (or possible another Toby). You’ll see some pieces for sale online but they are more recent because they are hollowed out & do not have the stamp & most likely not Made in England. This piece is super cool if you’re a collector. Size of the piece is approximately 4” h x 3 1/2” long x slightly over 2” wide. The weight of the actual piece is 4.4 ounces which I learned lightweight also dates the piece for us.
