This is an original copper silver coated Colander from an ottoman (Turkish) kitchen. Some of the silver coating has worn off to reveal the copper. It weighs about 1.1 kg and is 33 cm diameter and 9 cm high. It is in excellent condition considering its age. Was purchased in Istanbul about 40 years ago. It is not reccomended that it be used with food unless re-coated. Makes an excellent wall hanging for a kitchen
