However, all caddies dimensions do vary, so be sure to check the measurements above against your actual caddy and remember to allow enough length to fold over the top rim and spread across the base of the caddy. Designed for strength.These bags also now feature a "Star base", whereby the base of the bag is gathered together and sealed in such a way to strengthen the bag. This design helps to prevent the bag breaking when full of food waste, but does not affect the overall capacity of the bag.More info.All the compostable bags are certified biodegradable and compostable according to the European standard for compostable packaging; EN 13432, which is the internationally recognized standard for compostable and biodegradable bags in Europe.
