Please note that our stone chip protection masks (Hood Bras) are intentionally designed with high tension. This ensures the bra remains secure at high speeds, preventing fluttering and protecting your vehicle's paintwork from damage. For a perfect fit, please follow these steps: 1. Warm the Material (Most Important Step) Before installation, place the bra in a warm room or in direct sunlight for approximately 20 minutes. This makes the material elastic, allowing it to stretch the crucial 2–4 cm necessary for a proper fit—length that is missing when the material is cold. 2. Start with the Outer Side Hooks Always begin the attachment with the outermost side hooks. This secures the bra in the correct base position. 3. Alignment Once the sides are fixed, align the bra so it is perfectly centered on the hood. 4. Secure the Remaining Hooks Now, hook the remaining fasteners into the inner reinforcement struts of the hood. 5. Final Stretch Once all hooks are in place, pull firmly on the edges of the mask itself rather than the straps to achieve the final stretch. The warmth of the material combined with this firm pull ensures a perfect, wrinkle-free fit. Note: Proper tension is the key to protecting your car's finish. When making final adjustments, remember to grip and pull the edges of the material to ensure even distribution and a snug fit.
