The Aiphone JF-2SD audio-only sub-master station for Aiphone JF Series extends the door-answering capabilities of the master station (sold separately) into multiple rooms or over a large area. The door-release button works with an electric strike (sold separately) to remotely unlock the entrance for the visitor. A call can be answered by either holding down the answering button for push-to-talk action or by tapping the answering button for hands-free communication with the caller. The call button initiates audio communication with the master and sub-master stations (sold separately) for remote communication. The chime and audio volume is adjustable.Housing is ABS plastic and mounts to the surface of a wall using a single-gang box or ring. Housing dimensions are 6-5/16 x 3-9/16 x 1 inches/160 x 90 x 25 mm (H x W x D).
