The Aiphone JK-1SD audio-only sub-master station for Aiphone JK Series extends the door-answering capabilities of the master station (sold separately) into multiple rooms or over a large area. The door-release button works with an electric strike (sold separately) to remotely unlock the entrance for the visitor. A call can be answered by either holding down the answering button for push-to-talk action or by tapping the button for hands-free communication with the caller. The call button initiates audio communication with the master station for remote communication. The chime and audio volume is adjustable.
