Air Jordan 5 Low "Doernbecher"

The Air Jordan 5 Low “Doernbecher 2022” is a special release of Michael Jordan’s fifth signature shoe designed by patient Michael Wilson as part of Nike’s Doernbecher Freestyle series. The Nike Doernbecher Freestyle collection is a collaboration between Nike and the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital located in Portland, Oregon that gives children the opportunity to create a colorway of their favorite Air Jordan shoe. This is Michael’s edition of the Jordan 5 Low, which is inspired by his love of airplanes, sharks, and mac and cheese. The multicolor upper features different colored suede panels. Specifically, the toe is displayed in Royal Blue with debossed macaroni print. An eye is found underneath the translucent netting on the side. The word “Take Flight” is embroidered on the lateral side of the heel. A red Jumpman with “MDW” branding, standing for Michael’s initials, appears on the heel. Release date: April 30, 2022 Doernbecher
