Pleasant Company American Girl Doll purchased for my daughter.
Dating: it's very difficult to provide a definitive age, but the following characteristics point to an early edition, probably 1996 but I cannot guarantee the date. The following pre-date Mattel.
- ARTIST mark on back of neck behind ear
- thicker body, broad shoulders
- detailed fingers and toes
- no body tags or stars
Condition:
- clean, no stains or storage odors
- pictured outfit pieces included and have tags dated 1996, we are all guessing these came with the doll, but can't remember :(
- hair is uncut, but messy
- eyes and eyelashes are intact and have not been restored or replaced
- limbs are in good condition
This doll is VINTAGE condition and not PERFECT.
We are a family selling our OWN collections from a crazy clean, smoke and pet free home.
