This receiver is a plug-and-play. It comes with instructions on how to connect. If you are replacing this for your Altura 68" Ceiling fan, you may not be able to use your original remote. Your remote needs to be the UC7222T or RR7222T. If you have UC7222T434/CHQ7222T434 (434 frequency), you will need to buy the new remote RR7222T. WE SELL A KIT WITH A RECEIVER AND REMOTE.
