1899 pocket Bible made in Austria and published by Fr. Pustet & Co. New York & Cincinnati. Wonderful celluloid civer with raised cross and flower and gold gilded motif design on front. End pages are gold gilded and clasp is brass. The book is beautiful and all pages are in the book. There is age wear: a tear on the etching of Jesus page and the tissue page next to it; penciling on beginning and end pages; personal inscription at beginning and end of book; binding threads and cross on the cover has a missing piece - all as pictured. 3”W x 4.25” H.
