Up for sale is an Antique Barbour Silver Co. Repousse Silver Plated Bronze Vase 18 Dutch Scenes.
The vase is 18 tall with two handles. The four-sided body is decorated with hand hammered repousse Dutch village scenes. There are multiple layers of decorations. The top layers near the features a Dutch village scene of a river bank with a windmill, and a mother sitting on a chair holding a baby. The middle layer shows a dancing couple and a young man playing trumpet. The bottom layers has the village scene of farmers with a buffalo. In between the 3 layers are floral designs. The entire piece is decorated with delicate details throughout!
The bottom of the vase has the windmill with 2 pipes symbol attributed to the Barbour Silver Company, which became part of the International Silver Co. back in 1898. This suggests that the vase is dated to pre-1898., well over 100 years old. The pattern for this vase is 3327.
The vase is in perfect condition with absolutely no damage! Rare to find!
