This sugar bowl is a beauty and I used to store matches for a while. It’s beautifully decorated with a repetitive ribbed pattern to the body and top crimped edge. The base says “TW & S” with a partial pelican mark in between the letters. This is by Thomas Wilkinson of Birmingham, from approximately the late 19th century. Amazingly it’s in great condition with the silver plating shinning beautifully, despite the dent to the base. You can’t see it when it’s on a surface and it’s now part of its history.
