Vtg BUAER-US Navy G-1 WWII Flight Jacket SPEC. 55J14 (AER) Contract # N383S-39943 Made my mikes sportswear inc. this is a great authentic jacket. Collar shows some wear and signs of use. Leather is in good shape no tears or holes. Jacket says it’s a 42 but here are the measurements:
Pit to pit 18”
Bottom Hem to neck 24”
Sleeve to pit 20”
Something very rare about this jacket is it has a silk American flag and a phrase in many languages to help a shot down pilot get help. I have not seen these in many flight jackets.
