Axial SCX 24 Deadbolt 4 Wheel Steering w/ controller and upgrades
This was a project of mine as I always wanted to try out 4 wheel steering on an rc. It turned out well but could use a little more refinement on the rear steer like metal links to tighten it up a little but I wanted to keep it as light and stock as possible and it still works great as is. It can wander slightly but from what I understand that happens with even the ax24 some.
Rear steer is programmed with end points to not stress the servo on channel 4 of the Transmitter. 3 position rear steer enabled with the included Transmitter/ Receiver.
Upgrades
- Brass wheel weights
- Aftermarket Dumbo receiver and transmitter
- Furitek Lizard pro V2 ESC (no bluetooth module and was modified for only brushed running)
- second stock front steering assembly for rear steer
- new Emax es08md2 servo for rear steer.
No battery's with car.
Ships in a cardboard box. I reuse packing materials and boxes from my own purchases.
