The Black Box C6PC70-GN-10 is a 10 foot GigaTrue 3 CAT6 Ethernet patch cable built for network links that cannot afford drops or signal loss. It carries data, voice, audio or video traffic at up to 1 Gbps and has been tested to 550 MHz, so it easily supports demanding switches, servers, PoE devices, and workstations in business or campus networks.

Inside the PVC jacket you will find 24 AWG stranded copper in four pairs. The design keeps impedance low and controls structural return loss and crosstalk, which is critical when long conference calls, security cameras, or large file transfers are moving across the line. Each RJ45 plug uses 50 micron gold-plated contacts to ensure a clean hand-off of every bit and is rated for 750 insertions, a figure that suits racks that see frequent re-patching.

The built-in hard-polymer LockPORT boot does more than strain relief. With an optional locking pin it lets you secure the plug to the network port so nobody can pull it by accident or walk off with equipment that relies on it. Remove the pin and the same boot acts as a snag-free protector that keeps the latch from catching when cables are moved.
