• Mailing envelope addressed to the original recipient
• Four authentic “Dear Parent” letters from The Wander Company (Ovaltine), explaining the Secret Squadron program and Ovaltine’s nutritional benefits
Background:
These items were mailed to children who joined Captain Midnight’s Secret Squadron after listening to the hit radio series sponsored by Ovaltine. Members used their decoders to translate secret messages broadcast at the end of episodes.
All items are original and show light age toning consistent with their 1940s origin. Letters are complete and readable, envelope has light edge wear, badge and code card are well preserved.
