  The Clifton 420 Shoulder Plane fills the need for a light accurate shoulder plane. The body is machined from quality grey iron casting and is precision ground on the sole and the sides. The lever arm in made of unbreakable malleable iron and fits snugly into the body of the plant. The cutting iron fits smoothly onto the machined pads in the body and can be adjusted by means of a screw. Note: Honing is recommended before use.   Made in Sheffield, England.
