Complete set of 4 vintage hand-quilted placemats from Covey & Co. in their popular "Stars & Stripes" patchwork design. These pieces feature beautiful six-point star motifs made from a mix of red, white, and blue fabrics, including solids, gingham, and polka dots. The borders are finished in a classic blue-and-white ticking pinstripe.
Covey & Co. was well-known in the 1980s and 1990s for high-quality "new-vintage" textiles that mimicked 19th-century primitive folk art. These are perfect for your farmhouse, country, or patriotic decor.
Condition: These have been gently laundered. One placemat has a noticeable yellow age stain on a white section (shown in photos). The other three are much cleaner, though very faint pinpoint spots may be present consistent with age. No rips or loose stitching. Tags were cut.
