This OG Xbox (Revision 1.6) has been fully refurbished with a cleaning, new thermal paste, replaced CPU caps, and more. It's been fitted with a 500GB SATA drive holding 201 Xbox and 212 N64 games.
The DVD Drive works, I recapped it, gave it a clean, replaced the pulley belt, and greased it with White Lithium grease so that it would open and close smoothly. Yes, it reads discs.
I polished and spray painted the Jewel for the Xbox in Rustoleum's "Oil-Rubbed Bronze" color. I also cleaned the whole shell and conditioned the plastic, as a 20+ year old console comes with some scuffing. In my opinion, it looks a lot better than it did when I first got it.
As for the software, it uses Cerbios 3.1 and has XBMC4Gamers as the dashboard (look those up if you're unsure of what that is)
