DAISUKE TAJIMA BEYOND THE LINES 超越界限 by 田島 大介

This is Daisuke Tajima's first collection of works, an artist who uses his overwhelming imagination and transcendent drawing skills to depict an imaginary city where aggressive lines run in all directions.

Influenced by the American science fiction movies he watched as a child and Japanese animation, and the memories he gained through his own travels to Taiwan, Hong Kong, and mainland China, he creates giant pen and ink drawings. A group of skyscrapers fills the canvas.
The high-density monochrome space is a surreal world where only industrial and emotionless things can exist.
The world in which human figures are eliminated and buildings take center stage and continues to proliferate is the artist's own mental landscape, and can be said to be a metaverse that functions as a place that provides a kind of peace that is different from reality.
