<<I took pictures, but it looks like you have to be an electrician to connect the wires and then it runs by 2 C batteries, not included. I do not have the skills. So, I added the lights that run by plugging them into the outlet. I know it isn't the cool attached blinking lights - if you can figure it out it is all in the package. But - I like the lights strung around.

It is in perfect condition other then the lights. Such a cute display even if you don't do the lights. But I added them so you can decide.
