This ancient Roman bronze coin is about the size of a US Dime.
There are dozens of varieties of this coin. I believe that each mint essentially created their own identical tribute to Ceasar after his death in 270. So this was minted in 270-71. The crude nature of the design and the other pieces that were with it leads me to assume it is from a Gothic mint like Trier in Germany.
