Dynarex's Oil Emulsion Dressings are sterile gauze dressings, evenly impregnated with an emulsion blend of petrolatum and sunflower oil. Emulsion blended dressings assist with providing a hydrated wound bed to promote effective healing without unnecessary discomfort. Additionally, exude flows away from the wound, without adhering to granulated tissue, minimizing the risk of skin maceration.
- Non-adherent, sterile, knitted gauze dressing impregnated with a petrolatum and sunflower oil in an emulsion blend. Helps maintain a moist wound environment.
- Conformable, non-occlusive, allowing exudate to flow away from the wound site into a secondary dressing minimizing skin maceration.
- Primary dressing used for low to non-exuding wounds including donor sites, lacerations, skin grafts, burns and partial to full thickness wounds at stages 2, 3 or 4.
- Not Made with Natural Rubber Latex.
