EAPG US Glass COLONIS Dec 1 Colonial Panel Hand Painted Floral Water Pitcher Jug
Early American Pattern glass tankard in the COLONIS pattern #15145 (aka Colonial Panel) manufactured by the United States Glass Company circa 1913. A decorated spooner in this pattern is referenced in :Cornelius & Jones, American Pattern Glass Table Sets, page 44.
This heavy clear pressed glass 64 oz pitcher features horizontal panels with a horizontal band. Cold hand painted white flowers with green leaves on both sides. It is also decorated with a wide area of gilding at the top.
It is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks - just a few air bubbles, light base wear and manufacturing crinkles typical of glass from this era. It has age appropriate wear on the gilding. Just a lovely piece of very attractive EAPG that you are sure to want to add to your collection.
