Captain C.H. Amundsen nautical painting.
C.H. Amundsen was born in Norway around 1915. Self taught artist. Nephew of the South Pole explorer, Roald Amundsen. Has done magazine covers for Yachting Magazine and the Navy.
Possible oil on canvas. Signed by the artist.
Measures 21" long and 17" wide, including the frame.
Can be hung as is, but should really be restored to preserve the artwork.
Beautiful piece.
