Kay Bojesen has become an iconic symbol of Danish design, bringing joy to homes worldwide with creations that celebrate traditional storytelling. The Royal Life Guard Regiment, designed for the first time in 1940 as a tribute to the Danish King, consisted of several different soldiers standing at 1 meter tall and standing outside the Kay Bojesen shop in Bredgade. In 1942, smaller figures were created to be loved and cherished in every corner or windowsill. This little officer carries his saber and stands as the leader of the Regiment.
