This is a handmade softcover journal. The cover is made of a cardstock folder that has been covered and sewn with a red plaid fabric placemat, while the inside is lined using a file folder. There is a fabric flap closure that has an attached red cotton cord and a white pearl-colored button. The end of the ribbon features a silver bead and red tassle.
The journal measures 11 x 6 x 1 inch.
The pages are a mixture of tea dyed notebook paper, stamped/stenciled craft paper, and scrapbook paper. There is one sewn signature with a total of 40 pages (front & back). The journal is packed with removable ephemera pieces - including handmade journal cards & tags, stationery and postcards, a handmade flipdown portfolio, a sewn paper-lined fabric envelope filled with stickers and ephemera, and paper popcorn bag (new) filled with a handmade journal tag, sticker sheets and more!
