Each piece is marketed for sale as constructed with exact material, grain outline will differ, due to the character quality of each unique read. Your piece may differ slightly, but material will be exact, as advertised.
As with all my boards, each is finished with Food Grade Mineral Oil. This finish ensure a food-safe surface without a compromise of wood grains enriching detail. Unlike ordinary oil rubs, this particular oil absorbs into the wood, drying to a hardened finish, no fear of rancid reaction as with typical oils.
Once again, take comfort in knowing, no dyes or stains are ever used in any structure of my cutting boards. The rich colors you see, are indeed a natural wood beauty, such should draw us back in awe, to the magnificence, God, the True artist, has displayed.
