Herend Shoemakers Apprentice 5493 Figurine - Hungary. Herend, known for high end luxury hand-painted porcelain was founded 1876 and remains the world's largest porcelain manufacturer. This hand-painted figurine of a red-headed young boy dressed in over-sized green apron and black pants. Large red boots are draped over his shoulder. He appears to have an 'over-sized' attitude with the look on his face and hands tucked into the front of his apron. Lovely for collector or as a gift.
Estate find in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Impressed HEREND 5493 with blue signature stamp from 1960's.
