This is a cream-colored komon (a type of kimono). It's a casual komon that's perfect for relaxed occasions. How about wearing it for New Year’s?
There are some spots and stains in places, and there are some damages to the lining, but I don’t think it poses any problems for wearing. However, this is purely my personal, amateur judgment. It has a slightly old smell, but I personally find it tolerable.
I purchased it second-hand and have never worn it. It seems to have been cleaned, and aside from the points mentioned above, I believe it is in good condition.
It would also be good for practice in kimono dressing.
