This is a set of 6 Holmegaard Princess White Wine Glasses.
These glasses were created in 1957 by Danish designer Bent Severin (1925-2012). His Princess design is distinguished by its clean lines and its iconic small drop-shaped air bubble trapped in the stem of each glass. They feature a slim, upward-sloping bowl and a distinctive solid, conical stem that contains that teardrop air bubble. The design is a classic example of Mid-Century Modern Scandinavian. Originally designed for the glassmaker Kastrup Glasværk (until 1968) it was later produced by Holmegaard. The pattern was discontinued around 1998.
These glasses are in excellent condition. There are no chips, scratches or damage due to dishwashers. They measure 5 1/2” tall and 2 1/2” at the mouth.
