This is only the kimono. No obi or other accessories are included.
The fabric has a sheen.
It features a checkered pattern in pale gray and deep wisteria, with small figures of Komachi and a bamboo blind (or tatami?) woven into the design.
This kimono is recommended for those who love the Heian period, the Hyakunin Isshu (One Hundred Poems by One Hundred Poets), Murasaki Shikibu, and The Tale of Genji.
While the pattern is unusual, it looks like a classic black and white checkered kimono from a distance, making it surprisingly versatile. This beautiful kimono is perfect for a casual outing!
There are three faint stains on the front that are barely noticeable.
There are two slightly darker faint stains.
There is a stain on the collar seam that is not visible, but you can see it in the pictures.
Personally, I didn't find these stains to be a problem, but please check the pictures before purchasing.
The material is unknown, but the outer fabric, lining, and lining under the sleeves are probably synthetic.
It is a high-quality, fully hand-sewn garment.
