The JBL CBT 1000E-WH is a purpose-designed extension loudspeaker that attaches to the JBL CBT 1000 line array column speaker when you need greater bass impact, higher output, and wider pattern control. It is built for installers and sound designers who want to expand a CBT 1000 system without complicating the rig or altering the proven sonic signature of the series.

Inside the enclosure you will find six 6.5-inch low-frequency drivers that use neodymium magnets to deliver tight, accurate bass. When the extension module is coupled to a CBT 1000, overall power handling rises to 1500 watts RMS, letting the combined array reach higher sound pressure levels while maintaining clarity. A built-in crossover network is already matched to the CBT 1000, so you can bolt the two cabinets together with the supplied coupler plate and trust that the transition from lows to mids is smooth and phase coherent.

The cabinet is molded from fiberglass-reinforced ABS that stands up to knocks in busy venues and keeps weight manageable for installers who work on lifts or scaffolding. Coated paper cones, a heavy-duty aluminum grille, and an IP-55 rating guard the drivers against moisture, ultraviolet exposure, and salt air, making the module suitable for outdoor shopping centers, sports facilities, and waterfront restaurants as well as indoor spaces such as houses of worship, school auditoriums, and hotel ballrooms.

Because the enclosure keeps a slim profile, it fits easily on pillars, side walls, or stage edges where floor space is limited. Multiple mounting points give you the freedom to position the extension vertically below the CBT 1000, invert it above the main column, or fly the array where sightlines are critical.
