Pristine and faultless! Acquired in West Germany in the early 1980's. Beautiful hand-painted porcelain with pewter base, lid and handle. The maker's mark of KAISER, West Germany #505 is stamped in the base. Another symbol is stamped under the lid, reading: "Etain Pur" with an angel and the letters "AB".
This stein stands 7" from base to lid and 8 3/4" to the top of the thumbpiece. The base is 5" in diameter. It weighs nearly 3 pounds, and you should allow a shipping weight of about 5-6 pounds after packing. Safely shipped in bubble wrap and foam peanuts to assure safe arrival. Insurance will be required on the final bid.
