Very early piece for Scheurich, likely 1956-58, with rare stamp. Scheurich added “W." In W.Germany in the stamp soon after moving away from “foreign". I don’t know how soon after, but to find a piece just stamped with the “Germany" is rare.
Beautiful vintage cobalt blue 16" x 12“ serving dish / platter. Basket crisscross and fruit design surrounds the entire platter rim.
Made by Scheurich Germany, and stamped as such on the bottom, this rich piece is also stamped 346 – 40 cm.
Most Scheurich is stamped with W. Germany.
