To keep it alive through winter in colder regions, (Coleus’ are hardy in USDA zone 10-11) you must bring the plant indoors before the first frost and provide full shade to partial sun, with at least six hours of sunlight for the best flowering and best color. You can water only when the soil is dry. Keep her in the house in the winter but then put them outside in the summer and watch her thrive.
When you order a Kong Empire Coleus plant to ship, you will receive a established coleus plant plug with very little soil in the roots, and a paper towel to keep the roots moist.
