Beautiful porcelain figurine by Lladro. The "Roving Photographer" # 5194 was sculpted by Salvador Furio issued in 1984 and retired one short year later in 1985. Furio's outstanding detail brings the piece to life, from the tripod large format box style camera, the tie slightly tucked into the buttoned dress jacket, the white handkerchief hanging out of the right pocket of his full length over coat, compliment the perfect expression on his face. His head is slightly tilted downward, with his giving the feeling he is off deep in thought. The thick grey mustache, warn in a past era, goes perfectly with his cleft chin. It reminds us of a time that feels so long ago, long before we could take a selfie on a handheld cell phone. The figurine is absolutely beautiful!
