Smuggler's Soul by Gorilla Perfumes (Discontinued)
This scent starts with a smoky note that could easily veer into hippie perfumery but stops just short of it, against a quiet resinous background, which seemingly cannot decide whether it smells of eucalyptus or lemon. A half hour into the fragrance it hits its stride and settles into a long-lasting accord, both rough and mysteriously stylish, that can be best described as a combination of lipstick and fireworks.
This particular bottle was purchased directly from a Lush store in 2021 and stored in a cool dark drawer. It does say use before 2024, but it smells just like new. Please don't purchase this if you are concerned about the recommended used by date. However I don't believe perfume has an expiration date as long as they're stored properly.
I'm a long term lover of this wonderful perfume, and my heart breaks when they discontinued it. I hope this bottle finds another person who can also truly appreciate it.
