The shoulder straps are darkening with water spots, stiffness, and cracks, but are still strong enough to wear. I replaced one of the “buttons” that does not show the LV logo (shown in the fourth picture ). There are no holes, but pen marks inside. I wore it as a crossbody for easy access.
