This item is an old specification model, different from current products, and is attractive for its heavy material feel and rugged appearance unique to the old Filson.
I was also drawn to this atmosphere and purchased it about 15 years ago, and have used it for travel, motorcycle touring, etc. I feel that the dull luster of the leather, the tarnished color of the brass parts, and the wear and tear of the fabric have enhanced the atmosphere and made it more attractive. Although it's a small size, it was useful for trips of 1-2 nights, but due to changes in my living environment, I have had fewer opportunities to use it, so I am offering it for sale.
