No chips or cracks are crazy but there is or are a few gunmetal gray smudges which appear to be under the clear coating of the glaze that covers the piece and this is not crazed at all which is good and it has no rim chips or flea bites and no stains except for those odd smudges which I thought were surface dirt but they're kind of faded and they look natural to me. I love the hand painted rooster in the middle. This was probably made in Japan and had a paper label that fell off and it's probably from the early 1960s. Cute as a bug!! Super safe shipper w 28 years experience. Approx. 9-10" D.
