This is a bisque doll, Peg-ko, by Yukimi Sakai.
I purchased her at the Doll Animal Festival.
Ms. Sakai's bisque dolls, called "Yukimi Dolls," are small, hand-sized ceramic dolls with interchangeable clothes. They are simple, cute, and make you want to smile. The gentle warmth of the Yukimi Dolls is their charm, as they gently stay by your side.
She has a face like an antique peg doll, but she is all bisque. Her hair is made of wool.
The clothes, bonnet, and drawers were made by another artist and sold with the doll. (They are very carefully made.)
They suit her perfectly. I have never taken her clothes off.
Size: Approximately 13cm
A stand is also included. (Stamped with Kaiser)
The legs can move at the ankles, knees, and hip joints. The arms can move at the shoulders and elbows.
There is a darker spot on her right leg, which appears to be part of the coloring and was there from the beginning. (See image 10)
After purchasing her, I kept her carefully in a dedicated glass cabinet, but I have decided to sell her to organize my doll collection.
She is in very beautiful condition, but please understand that she has been stored by an individual, so please purchase only if you understand.
