The Mitsubishi Electric PAC-USWHS002-WF-2 Wireless Interface 2 is the latest generation of the Kumo Cloud Adapter, designed to bring smart control and wireless access to your Mitsubishi mini-split systems. With this Wi-Fi adapter, you can remotely monitor, control, and schedule your indoor units through the intuitive Kumo Cloud mobile app or web interface. This updated version supports simultaneous use with the MHK1 remote controller (and MHK2), providing greater flexibility in control options. Due to specific power requirements, only select indoor units—SEZ, SVZ, SLZ, MVZ, P-Series, and City Multi—can power both the MHK1 and the Wireless Interface 2 at the same time. Please verify compatibility with your indoor unit and refer to the Mitsubishi controller compatibility chart before installation. Once connected via the CN105 port, this compact device allows wireless control using a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network only. It is not compatible with 5 GHz networks and can connect only to Wi-Fi channels 1–11. For optimal performance, connect to a 2.4 GHz-only SSID or ensure your dual-band router can manage 2.4 GHz-only devices effectively. The interface also enables voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, offering a true smart-home experience. Security is built in, with AES encryption and PSK authentication to protect your network connection. It features a Bluetooth pairing mode, reset button, and three LED indicators for easy setup and diagnostics.
