The first pictures were taken by myself in daylight, the last 5 pictures were taken in dimmed lighting environments.
This is a shallowly curve-shape tea cup, made by a contemporary Chinese couple of artisans; the wife hand painted the silk flowers（合歡花） and the husband made the ceramic.
The white glazing is called “moon white”, derived from using plant ashes, not chemically derived. This glazing shows “pores”, not the kind of smooth porcelain China glazing. It is 100% natural and safe. The volume of tea it can hold is around 80 milliliter. They have their own studio and design their original styles of Chinese ceramic wares. This shallowly-curved-shape is called “斗笠杯”。
Brand new and never used.
