If you were part of the Roman auxillary infantry or cavalry during the later part of the Imperial history, you would have most likely carried the Roman Parma Shield. This round shield was used by the Roman army and has been beautifully re-created by Deepeeka. Modeled after its original design, this piece features poplar wood construction with a brass boss and brass edging. It is enhanced by a painted linen covered front. On the reverse side is a wooden bar grip that will ensure easy carrying. With historically authentic design, this shield is great for costumes, re-enactments, and display.
