Original Watercolor by Listed artist, Juan Nakai 1926-1973. Born in Red Valley, AZ. Known for his AZ and New Mexico Desert Landscapes. Titled “Shiprock, in northwest New Mexico, 1971”. A sacred Navajo Nation mountain, called Tse’ Bit’A’ -“the rock with wings”, has a legend. Size: 21 inches wide, 17 inches tall. Weighs Approximately 10 lbs. Framed, under glass, signed and dated 1971 by the artist. Beautiful condition with minor scratch on frame. An excellent price. Other art dealers are charging $500-$600 for similar paintings.
