Brand New Blackburn Designs Outpost Cargo Cage.
An alloy bike cargo cage/water canteen cage that can be mounted in place of a regular bottle cage to let you carry larger gear.
It works like a mini cargo rack and comes with two grippy rubberized tie down straps. Similar to the Salsa Anything Cage, Old Man Mountain, etc… but with better looks that don’t feel like a bad McGuyver apparatus.
Happens that this one was a team issue item when I worked under their Blackburn Ranger program. What does that mean? These were made in a smaller run with tidier welds for press use (picture 2) - check those tidy welds!
Never been mounted on a bike.
